What is Stress

Stress is our body’s natural reaction to any kind of demand that disrupts life as usual.  Externally, a lot of stressful events could trigger responses and reactions. Major causes of stress usually include worries about money, jobs, relationships, or health. Internally on the other hand, your interpretation of the external stimuli could lead to different levels of stress. Admittedly even short-lived, minor stress can have an impact.

Without your permission, not only your employer, but your family and friends do not have access to the information related to your therapy. Our therapists will explain to you in session as well because we will strictly follow the policy of HIPAA law. 

Is therapy effective for stress management?

The benefits of stress management include that it helps people to use tools and skills to cope with stressors and manage their response to stress. How long does it take for me to feel better?
